About the Author Frederic (Ric) Martini Author Dr. Martini has done his Ph.D. From Cornell University in Comparative and Effective Physiology for Work-Related to Stress Pathophysiology. In addition to professional publications, which include journal articles and contributing chapters, technical reports, and journal articles, he is the lead author of ten undergraduate textbooks on anatomy and physiology or anatomy. About the Author Elaine N. Marieb Elaine N. Marieb, she received her Ph.D. In zoology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Elaine N. Marieb joined the school of the Biological Sciences Division of Holyick junior college. While teaching at Holokay junior college, where many of his students were pursuing nursing degrees, he developed a desire to raised understand the connection between the scientific study of the physical body and therefore the clinical aspects of nursing practice.
